The Bookworm Library is an adapted shipping container located in the mixed-use Craft Centre in the developing neighborhood of Gigiri. Carpenters specialized in woodworking carried out the construction of the library entirely in cypress wood. Solid cypress creates warmth in atmosphere, while providing flexibility for repurposing in the future (for relocation or expansion of the library). The office space upstairs is a private working space for the client and her employees. The library downstairs contains a curated book collection, complimented by a rotating selection of artwork by local artists and designers.
