Moxy East Village

Moxy East Village is Marriott’s new hotel chain. Located in NYC’s vibrant East Village neighborhood, the design concept embodies urban archaeology, and references the city’s past, present, and future. The hotel unfolds as a timeline in ascension; each floor reveals a different layer in the neighborhood’s history, creating a sense of discovery transformation for guests.

Designer at Rockwell Group
  • Created design documents for client presentations including rendered plans, interior elevations, and 3D views
  • Worked on design of hotel rooms and all amenity spaces including the restaurant, cafe and bars
  • Met with developers to discuss design & construction
  • Designed custom furniture and prototyped pieces for fabrication
  • Managed design intern throughout the project
