ONGGI is a neighborhood fermentation shop and food counter in Portland, Maine. The design of the shop maximizes retail space while centering a bar counter for gathering and food service. The design provides space for local food makers to showcase their products, host workshops around fermentation classes, and facilitate community through gathering around food.
